Jeffrey Friedland was the chief executive officer and a director of a NASDAQ listed financial services company, a director of a Nasdaq listed agribusiness company, a director of a New York Stock Exchange-listed company, and the chairman of the supervisory board of a Hong Kong-based company on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.
He was a producer and host of Moneytime, a show featuring interviews with CEOs of Nasdaq-listed companies, which was aired on Financial News Network. The network was purchased by NBC and renamed as CNBC.
Mr. Friedland also had a joint venture with a direct response advertising subsidiary of Saatchi and Saatchi. At the time Saatchi and Saatchi was the world's largest advertising agency.
Mr. Friedland was an owner of two retail cannabis stores and a grow facility in Colorado, a founder and CEO of a publicly-traded cannabinoid research company, a founder of Israel Plant Sciences - an Israel-based company focused on plant breeding and genetics, a founder of a manufacturer and marketer of CBD products, a founder and the initial CEO of a cannabinoid-research company which became publicly-traded in the US, and an early investor in three Canadian cannabis licensed producers.
Mr. Friedland is also of an inventor of an issued US patent for the "Methods and compositions of treating dystrophies and myotonia" with a formulation consisting of cannabinoids and terpenes.
